Bertschi Families give for many reasons, but mostly because of the impact of Bertschi School on their children's lives.

We give to nurture knowledge and discovery

As new Bertschi parents, we've marveled at how the school lives up to its mission and values each day. It doesn't matter if the subject is drama, Magic Math or Spanish - we've watching our son discover a love for learning that started with his enthusiastic and caring teachers. As he begins what's sure to be one of the most influential periods of his education, we want to make sure that he and his classmates continue to have the best instructors and most innovative programs available anywhere.

We give to support our community

Financial diversity is one of many important values at Bertschi, and it means so much to our family to be able to give our daughter the opportunity to flourish in such a unique and supportive environment. Though not as much as we'd like, we still find ways to contribute and I feel good knowing that our efforts might be helping other families like ours. Bertschi has made a true impact on our daughter's life; her enthusiasm and joy for learning is our inspiration.

We give to help students find their individual voice

With three Bertschi graduates, we know the great lengths their teachers go through to reach kids on their own terms. They help them to discover and follow their interests, and to find their own voices to become confident and successful students. Giving to Bertschi each year allows us to go from "good" to "great." We give to Bertschi because we know how much our family has benefited, and how our kids have grown to become courageous learners.

We give to encourage joyful learning

My two sons attended Bertschi School in '78-'79, and they never forgot their many experiences there. Our family's ties to Bertschi have come full circle, as my grandson is now in the second grade and his mother also teaches Spanish here. I've seen the deep joy of learning and discovery that all Bertschi kids share, and this is why I support the school's style of hands-on, compassionate and creative education. As I know with my grandson, there's no greater gift a child can give a family than loving to go to school.
