Visual Art
Visual art gives students the freedom to take risks, build from imagination, and bring their unique voice to their work. Students develop dexterity and confidence with diverse materials while making connections to cultures and practices from around the world.
Drama
The study of theater gives students the opportunity to explore life and the human condition while taking safe and healthy risks. Students build self-confidence and empathy as they discover the world through varied perspectives and stories. Every class from pre-K through grade 5 performs a full production in our drama lab.
Science
Science empowers children to be curious, learn from mistakes, and better understand the world around them. Design-thinking is woven into every lesson as students create and test solutions to real-world problems — studying light, building circuits, designing solar ovens, exploring the salmon lifecycle, and more.
Tech & Robotics
In technology and robotics, kids learn by doing. Students become responsible, informed digital citizens while working with and coding robots, exploring VR, and engaging with real questions around AI — all connected to what's happening in the classroom.
Spanish
Our immersive Spanish program begins with students absorbing the language through routines, movement, and repetition. As skills grow, students move toward speaking, reading, writing, and verb conjugation, while also exploring the rich histories and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.
Music
Music gives students the tools and confidence to express themselves and connect with one another. We provide a strong foundation in the essential elements of music alongside a safe space to play, create, and experiment, building both identity and community.
Library
Books act as mirrors into ourselves, windows into other experiences, and doors into other worlds. Our library program nurtures a love of reading through read-alouds, book discussions, and independent selection, giving students agency to fuel their curiosity about the world.
PE
All children, regardless of exposure or skill level, can find opportunities to improve, feel successful, and enjoy being physically active. Our curriculum focuses on character development, positive mindset, and building the habits students need to lead healthy, active lives.
Creative Movement
Our creative movement curriculum introduces and deepens core dance concepts — space, time, energy, and force — through a program that balances structured technique with joyful exploration. Each year builds on the last, incorporating community traditions, collaboration, and student-created choreography.
