Every decision our faculty and staff make centers on our mission and on creating a joyful learning environment. Teachers meet each child where they are — adapting to different learning styles, encouraging risk-taking, and modeling reflection. We invest deeply in their growth, because the best way to support every child is to support the adults who know them best.

From a family's first day, we build relationships rooted in authenticity and care. We greet children by name, celebrate individuality, and practice a culture of kindness — the message is always: you are welcome, and we are so glad you're here. Every child deserves to feel safe, known, and valued for who they are, and to find their own voice within our community.

Bertschi was founded on the belief that where children learn matters as much as how. Our campus's village feel gives students a sense of adventure as they move indoors, outdoors, and across campus — building the confidence to navigate their wider world. We're currently enhancing our campus this school year, preserving that village feel while creating new spaces for project-based learning and collaboration.
