Feedback
"Bertschi students are receptive to the ideas of others, responsible, able to work well cooperatively, willing to take risks, creative, and confident."
—Director of Admission, Seattle-area middle school

"Our daughter was well prepared for the academic, organizational and social challenges of middle school. Her Bertschi teachers nurtured and challenged her in an environment with clear expectations about the importance of learning. Today, she expects to love school, wants to learn and is ready to work hard to get there."
—Parent of Class of 2000 graduate

Next Steps
Each fall Bertschi hosts a Middle School Forum for fifth grade parents. This evening provides information about the variety of middle school options for students. Faculty and administration discuss ways for parents to find out more about schools and to learn about the process for applying to independent schools. Recent graduates return to share their middle school experiences with current fifth graders and answer their questions. Bertschi works closely with fifth grade students and parents as they make this important transition.
