Our Campus — Unique, urban, and inspiring

The Bertschi School campus spans an entire block in the dynamic metropolitan neighborhood of North Capitol Hill in Seattle. Close to Interstate 5 and easily accessible from Seattle, Bellevue, and points north and south, Bertschi is convenient for families throughout the greater Puget Sound area.

The school’s six buildings provide a secure and nurturing environment for students. There are two classrooms for each grade level (one for Pre-K), as well as learning spaces for resource specialists.

The well-equipped science room supports an extensive curriculum; the library/media center offers students and teachers access to both hard copy and electronic resources; a Drama Lab with a stage, sound, and lighting gives children a chance to explore performance; an art studio complete with kiln provides a place for creative spirits to shine; the music room with its grand piano and excellent acoustics is an amazing space to sing and dance; there is an elementary-sized gym and outdoor PE space, as well as a dedicated world cultures room.

Ample outdoor play areas ensure students enjoy a variety of activities in both structured and free play time.
